More than a century of economic scholarship
Established in 1917, the Indian Economic Association provides a national forum for discussion of theoretical economics, applied research and public-policy questions. Its annual gatherings bring together scholars, teachers, researchers and practitioners from across India and abroad.
The Association supports excellence in teaching, research, training and professional consultation while encouraging economists to contribute knowledge in the public interest.
